Developed a custom gold shop management system for an Indian jewellery business, designed to manage the complete purchasing, sales, inventory, and accounting workflow of a single-store operation.
The system handles gold-specific product information such as gross weight, net/gold weight, price per gram, making/commission charges, discounts, quantities, and product details. It also manages GST calculations across purchases and sales, including CGST, SGST, taxable amounts, discounts, and GST-inclusive totals, helping the business maintain accurate transaction records and generate structured invoices.
Beyond day-to-day sales and purchases, the system provides comprehensive customer and supplier account management, including ledgers, outstanding balances, collections, refunds, supplier payments, payment refunds, debit/credit transactions, and other financial activities. Extensive history tracking records who performed an action, when it happened, and what transaction was affected, providing better accountability and traceability across the business.
Unlike the previous multi-store management system, this solution is built specifically for a single jewellery store, keeping the workflow focused while providing deeper transaction history and gold/GST-specific functionality.
